Bind an existing quote

Binds an existing quote and creates a binder.NOTE: If there are any material changes that need to be made to the account details after binding, the binder will be considered invalid and a new quote will need to be created. Please review the above details.

Prior to calling the Bind endpoint, partners are required to place below attestation language on their interface to ensure that quote is bound with most up to date information. Partners are required to add a checkbox button for the end-user confirming that the documents and provided information is correct.

Once bind endpoint is called, and the binder document is issued, Cowbell underwriting team will reach out to the broker via email with further issuance instructions.


Please note that the bind endpoint is not eligible for quotes with the same day or prior effective date (all bind orders which require a NKLL should be processed via email or in the Cowbell portal).
